Selected others mentioned include ‘Mr Burroughs’ [American author of the Beat Generation], Alan Ginsberg [American poet of the Beat Generation], Alfred Jarry, Troochi [Alexander Trocchi, Scottish novelist], Renate Widmann and Flanagan’s artwork a nose in repose (1977), then showing at the Tate.
