View Flanagan’s online Archive through the Hierarchy’s groupings, or the Index

The 140 box archive comprises the professional records and personal papers created and accumulated by Barry Flanagan (1941 – 2009). It contains records authored by Flanagan throughout his career while resident in London, Ibiza, Amsterdam and Dublin.

These papers were bequeathed to the Estate of Barry Flanagan in 2009. Copyright is held by the Estate of Barry Flanagan. For information on access conditions please contact us via our contact form at the bottom of the page HERE.

The INDEX is a list of all the files contained within the archive catalogue. They are arranged alphabetically by folder title and are identical to those in the hierarchy but arranged as an alphabetised list.

The online archive is organised in a hierarchy much the same way as the folders stored on a computer. A short, logical sequence of opening folders within folders will lead to the relevant file, with further description, images and related records.
