The Carré d’Art building, designed by Norman Foster, is 30 years old in 2023. This exhibition is dedicated to this celebration, highlighting the richness of the collection whose first acquisitions date back to 1986 in a partnership between the Ministry of Culture and the city of Nîmes.
Barry Flanagan’s ‘rack 1 ’67/68’ (1967/1968), acquired by the museum in 1992, is on view.
