The Llandudno prints are a series of five landscapes, made at the request of Clive Adams, with a view to using one as a poster for the group show ‘The Native Land’ at Mostyn Art Gallery in 1979. Flanagan made a sixth, less symmetrical image for the poster. In all of them, folded hills lie beneath a sky in which arabesque clouds sail by.
