Artist Anne Hardy curates the Arts Council collection in the Towner Gallery’s final Arts Council Collection National Partners Programme 2016-19 and has included Flanagan’s ‘Heap 4’ (1967). The gallery website explains Hardy has envisioned the gallery space ‘as a shifting impermanent landscape, a meditative environment shaped by local weather data, which has been translated into gently fluctuating light.’ Artists include Claire Barclay, Claude Cahun, Lynn Chadwick, Thomas Joshua Cooper, Sarah Lucas and Ima-Abasi.
