Flanagan’s Eat Words, (2004) will show in THE SHIFT, Eight Years of Flat Time House, which marks their eight year anniversary and the final exhibition at FTHo under its current incarnation. The work makes reference to the relationship between Flanagan and Latham and to Latham’s Still and Chew event (1966) in which Flanagan and other students at St Martin’s were invited by Latham to chew the pages from Clement Greenberg’s book ‘Art & Culture’ (1961).
