Talking Statues

As detailed in our last newsletter Sing London and their current project Talking Statues is on-going from August 2014 to August 2015. The project is animating 35 statues across London and Manchester by a cast of Actors and Comedians and we are delighted Flanagan’s work Leaping Hare on Crescent Bell is part of the project.

Talking Statues is aimed to raise awareness of and participation with sculpture across the city and the judging of the competition to find a voice for Flanagan’s Leaping Hare on Crescent Bell is underway. Participants were invited to submit a short monologue for the statue located at Broadgate circle and the announcement of the winner will be detailed on their website and in our next newsletter.
