The current call for artist in residence at FTHo has elicited over 160 applications from an internationally diverse group of mid-career artists, this year with the introduction of a fee, seeing less numbers. The short list is currently under consideration and the selection committee will make the appointment at the end of September. The successful candidate will receive a stipend and a production budget towards new work, a studio at Flat Time House and an exhibition at the close of the residency. They will be visiting the Barry Flanagan Archive and spend time in FTHo archive. The successful artist will be announced in the next newsletter with details of any related events.
