Flanagan’s ‘a hole in the sea’ (1969) is included in Negative Space at zkm Karlsruhe until August. The exhibition aims to investigate the relationship between sculpture and space in relation to diverse spatial concepts. Flanagan’s work is shown alongside that of Rachel Whiteread, Olafur Eliasson, Eventstructure Research Group and Lydia Clark. See their website for forthcoming events related to the exhibition.
