Mental Furniture Industry

From 28 June to 10 August is focusing on alternative approaches to creative thinking and education. The term, mental furniture industry is one used by Latham to describe an enabling rather than stultifying form of thinking creatively and productively. Latham and Flanagan were both involved in the Antiuniversity a collective formed in 1968 to offer seminars, Barry gave one on space. The exhibition will include a Rowford table designed by Barry Flanagan in 1979.
