In ‘Barry Flanagan – the works, Revisited by Assemble’ the rehearsal of the unique re-enactment of Barry Flanagan’s lost 1969 film ‘the works’, is documented. Brought to life by Assemble, the Turner Prize-winning collective and set in the historic House of Annetta during London Frieze week 2024, this durational performance reinterprets Flanagan’s exploration of materials, labour, and transformation.
