This weekend we open ‘Prints, Ceramics, and a Hare’ at Ruthin Craft Centre, North Wales, with Bedwyr Williams reading Seamus Heaney's translation of ‘The Names of the Hare’. Flanagan collaborated with Heaney on a print, gracing it with three of his iconic gilded leaping hares. The poem focuses attention on the hare’s trickster character; quixotic, paradoxical and contradictory.
Bedwyr Williams is a Welsh artist working across media. His work often deals with Welshness, otherness and difference. Join us this Saturday 5th July with readings at 11:30am and 1:30pm.
