Scope and Content

Photograph album containing black and white and colour photographs.

Documenting Barry Flanagan’s relatives including Bill and Monica Flanagan, his parents, Ella Retford, his Aunt, Mike Flanagan and John Flanagan, his brothers, and Patsy Flanagan, his sister. Barry Flanagan as a baby, a child, an adolescent and a young man with Sue Flanagan, his wife, and Samantha Flanagan and Tara Flanagan, his daughters. Photographs of Mike Flanagan, John Flanagan and Patsy Flanagan at the National Broadcasting Company radio studio, New York, USA, in 1942 and of family holidays with the Severn Wildlife Trust, UK.

The original prints of many of these photographs can be found in the papers of Monica Flanagan (MON).
